OLIVE HILL, Ky. -- Carter Caves State Resort Park will host an 18-hole 2-player “Golf by the Full Moon” scramble on Friday July 18, 2008.

The first 9 holes start a 7:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 9:00 p.m.
The last 9 holes begin at 10:00 p.m.

The entry fee is $40.00 per person, which includes golf with cart, dinner, light balls, and first and second place prizes. Golfers should bring their own flash lights. Proceeds from the scramble will go to Kentucky Employees Charitable Campaign.

Beneath the forested hills of Carter Caves State Resort Park, nature has hidden more than 20 twisting caverns, where you’ll discover a 30-foot underground waterfall and many more surprises. In addition to golfing and caving, the park features fishing, boating and swimming. A lodge with 28 guest rooms and 11 2-bedroom cottages provide overnight accommodations. Camping is also available.

From I-64 east, take exit 161 (Olive Hill exit). Turn left off the exit onto US 60 east. Go approximately 2 miles and turn left on KY 182 north. The park entrance is 3 miles from the left turn onto KY 182 north.
