Citing the sagging economy and weak ticket sales, the CBA league will be ending the season early. Pikeville's East Kentucky Miners is of course part of that league.
The future of the league seems uncertain, but the Miners may return next season. We sure hope so! Charlie and I love the games, and we had season's tickets this year. With our recent home move, and now with Charlie's leg broken we haven't gotten out like we should, but we did support the Miners with the Pike County Chamber of Commerce packaged tickets.
